What happened to my friend request in Myspace?

Hi everybody!If you make a friend request in Myspace and the person who gets the request doesn’t check his/her own myspace profile for a long time (let’s say for some months), how long does my request stay active? I’m asking this because after 1 month my friend request has disappeared in my profile, but the other person neither accepted it nor denied it (actually, they haven’t checked their Myspace yet…)Whatever happened to it?Thanks for helping me!!
