On myspace do people add friends without being friends at school?

because i have seen alot of people in my middle school adding people as friends without being friends at school and there are also people who are friends on myspace who they think are weird but they are friends on myspace. i was thinking about adding people from school as friends on my myspace but im a shy girl and i dont talk to them.i was also wondering how i could add them like should i just add them or should i just ask them if they have a myspace and then add them.Q1o people in middle school just add random people they know in school without talking to them at school?Q2:How should i add them as friends on myspace?should i just add them or ask them if they have a myspace at school and then add them

1. I'm in 7th grade and I know for a fact that most people add random people. You can do whatever you think is right though because I make sure to only add people that I know, not just random people. I will still add the weird people I know or the people that I don't like. The term "friends" on myspace just basically means people that you know.2. You should really just add them because it isnt worth going through all that trouble to ask. ))Hope I helped.

Just add them on myspace. People usually just add people they know unless they really hate them. That way you can message them or comment on their page/pictures if you need/want to to.

A lot of people add "friends" who aren't really friends, which is lame. It's just a way to build up your friends count, to make them seem popular.If you don't know the person, why would you add them? To answer your question, I would suggest that you at least talk to the person before adding them as "friends."

If you find someone from your school on myspace you can just add them. You don't need to really be their friend. And yes people in middle school just add random people without really talking to them at school. Just because they are on their friend list doesn't mean that they are actually friends with them. You don't HAVE to talk to anyone on your friend list.
