Screen size has nothing to do with image size. Its resolution that matters. Resolution is how many pixels fill each inch of the screen. A 21 inch monitor using a resolution of 800x600 will show the exact same image as a 13 inch monitor with a resolution of 800x600.By default, the standard most used resolution is 1024x768. Almost all 'wallpaper' or 'background' images come in this size. If you make an image for your myspace background, try to make something about that size. The best method is to combine the image with a suitable background color as well, so if some one is using a larger resolution, like 1600x1200 they will still see your background image, but they will also see the background color behind it.The only other solution is to create a dynamic jpeg, which is complex and requires an expensive piece of software (e.g. I wouldn't suggest it).If nothing else, take the middle ground and make an image 1280x1024, the next size up standard. Just don't put any important graphic detail too close to the edges.
