Is it illegal to post your child pictures on myspace and say that he his missing???

I have not seen my son in like 3 months and have no clue where the mother his. Can I put his pictures on myspace and see if anyone seen him or her??? I was gonna write a descriptions about him, with his name and also the mother name and the last known place I know where he was.The reason why I don't go to the police cause, we didn't go to court for visitation rights and there is a child support order on me and I refuse to pay. No, I'm not a dead beat dad I use to buy my son everything when I had him.I have no names or phone numbers of anybody she know, her mom his dead and she don't know her father.

You still have rights as the biological father unless you signed them away. GO to the Police!! Just because there's an order doesn't mean anything. Why would you refuse to pay? Go to the police now!!

If he is really missing, then it's not illegal. But unless the police put out a bulletin, the odds of anyone on myspace finding him are slim.

I would strongly suggest that you begin paying your child support, at least place the monies you owe into an escrow account. The fact that you have no been paying support will not sit well with the court.Once you are caught up, file an immediate show cause for contempt of a court order with an attendent petition for custody.Once you have accomplished these steps then you can ask the court to file a subpoena to the mother to appear with the child and if she doesn't then you have grounds to file a complaint of parental kidnapping with the police.You may have those grounds already as there is a court order for support and she has hidden the child who is the subject of that order. That advice you will be better served to receive from a local attorney.
