it depends, if they already have a pic on my space, then by all law it is public domain and it is ok. If they don't its always nice to ask.

It would be nice if u would ask them if it's ok no matter if they have a myspace pic or not. If u want to put a pic of them on ur page and they have a account or not it would be the polite thing to ask them if it would be ok.

you should always ask your friends for permission to put their picture on your page b/c they could think they look like crap in the photo and more importantly...if the photo shows them doing something illegal or just in bad judgment...their parents, teachers, employers, or the authorities could see the picture and it could cause adverse affects for them and/or your friendship!

You don't need to ask permission from your friends to post their pictures. That is, MySpace won't get you in trouble if you do. Most friends just post pictures and that's part of the fun. The fun is seeing a picture of yourself on your friend's page that they felt was special enough to post for everyone to view.
