...return emails or comments? Are they just using me for my looks?

How new are you to the internet ? I'd say really new. What you're getting is spam. They're from porn sites trying to fool you into believing they're real people. And many people fall for that unfortunately. Of course, you have to pay to watch them or talk to them. You need to learn how to distinguish a real person from a fake one.
