how do i put a html file on myspace so that it opens a word document?

I would like to have a link on my myspace so that when you click it, it opens straight away to a word document.I have saved it as a html file but i have no idea what to do nextany suggestions??

You can't. A Word document requires the user (client) to have Word installed, and you can not make this happen. You can make it download and anyone with Word can them use it if they wish, but it can not open on the server, this will not allow running the program. If you are trying to get people to enter data, you need to set up a from, this can be laid out like a word document but with limitations unless you build in formatting code. The data can then be posted to a database for whatever purpose required.
