Myspace layout coding help?

http://i28.tinypic.com/ankkk6.jpgthat's my background image that I will have and I will have divs I guess for the boxes, my question is how do I get rid of the defaults and for divs have my friends list in there or my comments section or my picture.....basically how do I put certain sections in a div and get rid of the other sections placed by default?....Thanks
